Answer:

Access, Confidentiality, Democracy, and Preservation are 4 Core Values of Librarianship. Access to the myriad of materials a library has in their collection, regardless of format, is important. Libraries of today are not just a place for books. They also provide access to technology that users may not have access to otherwise and it is important that patrons have access to this regardless of their education level, socioeconomic status, etc. Libraries are community resources that should be accessible by everyone in their respective communities.
