TutorMe
Question:

I am trying to do research regarding trauma-informed care and self-care of police officers. Do you have any idea where I should look for articles regarding this?

Answer:

I would start with the Nursing/Health Studies databases and Psychology databases (can select from library home page). See this link for a sample search I did. Browse these results and see if we’re on the right track. You can limit results by peer-reviewed and/or by publication date on the left-hand side. You can also try different search terms, if you see keywords through this exploring that help to narrow down. Does this look like it's working for you?

Answer:

You will be able to find some info via a Google search or on Wikipedia, but we also have access to a published music encyclopedia here (provide link). Published resources are generally considered more reliable, and your instructor may require you use those.

Question:

Where can I find scholarly articles about bilingual education?

Answer:

I'd suggest starting with our Education Research Complete database, which can be found here (provide link). Bilingual education is a pretty broad topic. You may want to enter additional search terms after you see the results, or you can click the suggested Subject Terms in the left-hand menu. I can help you narrow your topic if you wish.
