I am a lover of books and history. I am particularly interested in the ways gender and race have intermingled in American history.
From 2016 to 2018 I managed the educational programs of a health nonprofit with a six-county service area. This included in school classes, staff education, volunteer education, and writing and distributing a patient education curriculum to several partner hospitals. I've worked as a middle school sub and special education aide, as well as a cheerleading coach. I've also worked in nontraditional educational arenas including museums and aquatic centers.
