I am an academic proofreader and tutor of English, essay writing, and philosophy. I possess a BA philosophy (first class honours) & MA philosophy (distinction) from the University of York, England. I am a native British English speaker and have a Trinity certTESOL. I can teach you the principles of logical argumentation and help you to write essays that are persuasive, coherent, critical, and balanced.

I currently tutor individuals online on a variety of subjects and I also proofread for professional academics and PhD candidates, some of whom have had their articles published in top-tier, high-impact academic journals. I have taught multi-student & one-to-one classes on English language to speakers of other languages. Earlier this year, I led a workshop on philosophy for high-school students as preparation for an international philosophy Olympiad. Unfortunately, the Olympiad was cancelled due to COVID-19.
