I've been lucky enough to study with some amazing teachers during my time at Eastman and Peabody and I'm excited to pass that experience on to you. I've performed across the U.S. as a percussionist, and have had my compositions performed both nationally and internationally from Texas to Japan by a number of wonderful ensembles. I bring my experience as a composer and performer to my work as a theory teacher. I started teaching in summer 2015 through the Islip Arts Council, teaching beginning piano to students of all ages. Currently, I'm a student teacher in composition through Peabody's Junior Bach program. And this year I will participate in a music theory teaching internship through Peabody's Music Theory Pedagogy degree program.
