I have experience teaching World Music, Cultural Anthropology, and English literature and language. I’m patient and passionate about helping students meet their goals! In my own research, I study musical activities and oral histories. I'm particularly interested in Italian folk musics, field recording, and the Sacred Harp singing tradition, but also have background in environmental studies, botany, and photography.

I've also taught World Music to undergraduate students in 2017-2018 and led recitations in an intro anthropology class at the University of Pennsylvania in spring 2019.
