My name is Jack, and I am a rising sophomore at Yale with a first year GPA of 3.84. I am currently planning on majoring in English and education studies but have experience in tutoring a variety of subjects. I really enjoy the experience of working with students as we work together to break down complex topics into simpler components whether it be a math problem or an essay or standardized test preparation.
Teaching Experience
I have been teaching and tutoring for several years now in many different capacities. For four years in high school, I served as an ESL tutor for elementary school students and helped them with both reading and math assignments. Additionally, in high school, I worked for two years at my school's math lab where I assisted students on problem sets of all levels from Algebra I through Calculus BC.
