Question:

If 90% of startups fail, why bother trying to start a business?

Paul S.

Answer:

Yes, while it's true that statistically a new startup has a 90% failure rate, think of the benefits. First off, there is a 10% success rate! Considering an NCAA football player has only a 1.6% chance of making it to the NFL and only 0.6% of applicants become a NASA astronaut, I'd say 10% is pretty high! Also, you'll be your own boss! Ever thought of an idea to make your company more efficient and effective only to be shut down by your boss or your boss's boss? The struggle is real and present. But there is no better way to control your own destiny. You're the boss. You're in charge. You can become the next Bezos, Zuckerburg, or Musk. Don't be afraid of failure as it is a part of starting a business! Through our failures, we succeed!
