I have tutored and mentored classmates in several different subjects, including calculus, chemistry, organic chemistry, and subjects related to material testing and classification. I also have taught seminars on other, non-academic subjects such as outdoor skills, camping, and athletics.
Georgia Tech Research Institute, Researcher
2017 - Present
I am working with a team on growing 2-dimensional molybdenum sulfide nano-film semiconductors using molecular beam epitaxy. We use these films to build field effect transistors and tunneling transistors due to their superior electronic performance. Currently, I am leading my sub-team in examining how growing these films on different substrates effects their surface geometry and electronic properties.
MedShape, Inc., Research Assistant
2013 - 2013
I worked as a research assistant developing and testing PDMS-polyethylene composites for their stress-strain response under compression. The goal of this project was to create a soft material capable of acting as a spinal disk or cartilage replacement.
