Question:

What is good design?

David D.
Answer:

While graphic design can be very subjective, it's all about communication. A successful design should clearly communicate its ideas and intent both visually and textually. If the idea isn't being communicated then the design isn't doing its job and most likely needs to continue to develop. I'm here to help you on that process and provide any input I can to help make your design successful.

Answer:

Chiaroscuro is an oil painting technique which showcases a high contrast between light and shadow to illustrate three-dimensional form. Light is shown on one side of a figure, while shadow dominates the opposite side to create a dramatic effect. Caravaggio is one of the primary artist's associated with utilizing this technique.
