Teacher, Reader, Writer - in no particular order. Those three words describe me best. I was raised on a small working ranch in South Texas, and I enjoy running, reading, writing, hiking, and traveling. Currently, I live in Alpine, Texas, and teach at the local university.

My experience spans many grade levels. I've taught grade 4 reading and grades 4-8 science and technology. Over the past eight years, I've taught university-level biology courses, as well as two university-level developmental math courses. During my library graduate school experience, I served as a trail guide at a local nature preserve. Finally, I served as a Botany Teaching Assitant while in graduate school.
