About Jennifer
For the past 13 years, I have dedicated my life to education. After a brief start in advertising and public relations, I went back to school at night to get a master's in English Education, and I have never looked back. I have been a seventh grade English teacher, journalism teacher, and most recently a sophomore and senior English teacher as the Upper School English Department chair. I am still in charge of the Writing Center at St. Andrew's, but I am only working part-time since I just had my third child. I have a love for teaching writing...

Teaching Experience

Teaching Experience
I taught 7th grade English at St. Andrew's for four years, journalism for 10 years, and 10th grade English for 6 years. I previously taught at a small private school at Alabama while finishing my master's. I served as department chair at St. Andrew's for three years and decided to leave after the 2018/2019 year with the arrival of my third child. I still maintain a one-day a week role as the Writing Center Coordinator at St. Andrew's.
