What happens on Biodigester?
The biodigester is used to convert organic matter into energy (methane gas). The system is usually anaerobic and the bacteria will degrade the organics substant and consequently generate biogas.

Derivate has several applications, an example can find the maximum (or minimum) point of a second-degree equation. As per definition, the derivative is a tangent line to the equation (which can be written as a plot). At the maximum or minimum of a second-degree equation the tangent line will be always equal to 0 (due to its shape). Therefore, a derivative of a second-degree equation will give the maximum/minimum point for that particular equation. This solution is very common in Physics when it is needed to find the maximum speed of an object moving in constant acceleration movement.

Why is unsafe to design a heavy foundation on clayey soil?
The water permeability on clays do not behave as granular soil, where it flows through the pores. In the clay, due to its electrical charges, the water does not flow freely and as a consequence, the heavyweight of the foundation will try to compact the soil and since the water will dissipate very slowly, after a long time (usually years), the building will suffer settlements and its workability functions will be damaged. Therefore, the construction will be unsafe.
