What is a thesis statement?
A thesis statement is usually a single sentence placed at the end of the first paragraph of your paper. It is a disputable claim or interpretation of a subject that can be supported with evidence. A thesis statement provides a sort of 'road map' for your paper, providing a main idea or argument for the reader. The rest of the paper--the body paragraphs--present evidence and details that support the claim made by the thesis statement.

What type of college or university do you want to attend? Why?
There are thousands of colleges and universities in the US and finding the perfect one can be challenging. Initially, having a sense of what you are looking for in your college experience is helpful. Later, you can narrow down a list of colleges to identify to target schools to which you hope to gain admission. Consider some of the different types of colleges to choose from: -Public or private college? -University or liberal arts college? -Highly selective, selective or non-selective? -Diverse? -Liberal or conservative? -Location? -Scholarship opportunities?
Subject: English as a Second Language
Find the errors in the following sentence and revise accordingly: Lisa has his bus ticket and is going to germany the friday.
Corrected version: Lisa has her bus ticket and is going to Germany on Friday. Lisa is a girl's name so the possessive pronoun used should be feminine (her). Germany is a country and Friday is a day of the week. Countries and days of the week are always capitalized in English. Days of the week that refer to singular or repeated events are proceeded by the preposition 'on'.
