About Whitney
I currently teach cooking classes. I was valedictorian for my 2016 culinary arts program graduating class. In the past, I attended UC San Diego, where I studied cultural anthropology and political science. In the Fall of 2017, I will begin working as an instructional assistant for the culinary arts program at Diablo Valley College, here in California. I am in the process of applying to the teacher credential program at UC Davis for the 2018 academic year. I love to teach, and I am a lifelong student. To me, the two go hand-in-hand.
Teaching Experience
I have been teaching cooking classes to the public for one year. In the past, I have been a teaching assistant at the college level, and also a substitute teacher (K-12). At one point I also taught snowboarding lessons!
