John wants more people to come to his gym. So, he instructs his employees to give compliments everytime someone finishes working out, saying, "Good job!" "You're great!" "You're looking good!" and etc. The point of this is that complementing the customers made them feel good and correlated the compliments with exercising, increasing the chances of their return. What psychological tactic did John use?
What might go into the decision making for a director when choosing a play?
A major factor, if not the biggest factor, for a director choosing a play is he has to identify a play that (s)he can CONNECT with. A director has to fully indulge in their play; they live it, breathe it, eat it, love it. They are apart of every inch of the production. They have to love the play so much that they have to make everyone else love it too. They have to connect and love with a play in order to be able to interpret the play, work on the play, and fully unleash their vision for the betterment of the entire production.
Along the digestive tract, there are several organs or regions in which the usual order of tissue layers is changed, or the type of cells is different from the expected. Give two examples of these exceptions, and tell where they exist along the tract.
1. Original tissue layers go from mucosa, submucosa, muscularis externa (circular + longitudinal muscle layers) and serosa. This is different in the large intestine (notably the colon) where instead of a longitudinal muscle layer of the m.c., there are muscular bands of tania coli instead (which create the haustra). 2. Rectum; after being simple columnar for a while, (ending at sigmoid colon), the rectum changes back into stratified squamous epithelium cells and the exterior anus to identical outside, kerotinized skin as well.
