Hello! My name is Julia, and I want to help you! I recently graduated from Elon University in North Carolina with a double major in History and International Studies with a concentration in Europe. I also have a minor in French. I would have majored in French, but there wasn't enough time! I have, however, spent eight years of my life learning French. This past year, I spent six months in an elementary classroom observing and working with young children. This internship taught me how to communicate with younger students and how to simplify copious amounts of information.
In addition to this internship, I was also accepted into the Teach for America Corps. While I respectfully declined their invitation to pursue a graduate degree from George Washing University, this prestigious organization found I was qualified to teach Special Education to K-12 students.

I had the opportunity to work Elon University's art collection. This included everything from photographing and archiving objects to preparing for tours and to creating a catalogue for a recent donor to Elon University's collection.

I worked on a number of projects to bring awareness to common problems on campuses such as hazing, academic dishonesty, sexual assault and drugs/alcohol and to reinforce the importance of inclusivity on campus.

I worked with the Education Department's program managers to facilitate visitor experience at the National Portrait Galley. This experience included working on a number of projects, preparing for tours and presenting a tour in the American President's Exhibitions to exchange students from American University.
