Question:

Why would you use a vector over an array?

Akila S.
Answer:

While vectors and arrays serve similar functions, under certain circumstances, one may be more beneficial than the other. Typically, arrays are more advantageous when you know how much memory needs to be allocated beforehand, as overall runtime tends to be better in this case. Vectors, however, give you the added benefits of being able to add or remove elements as desired and resize it, which is more beneficial when you are working with an unknown amount of data.
