About Renee

About Renee
Currently, I am a stay at home mom to my three young boys, who I also homeschool. I am looking to get back into the chemistry field and love the idea of tutoring as it is flexible and easy to do with my schedule. When I was a teaching assistant, I really liked working with the students, which has drawn me to the tutoring aspect of chemistry.

Teaching Experience

Teaching Experience
I have a Bachelor's degree in chemistry. Immediately out of college, I worked as a laboratory supervisor for an environmental lab that tested water and air samples. From there, I moved and worked as a quality assurance auditor at a pharmaceutical testing company and most recently, I was a teaching assistant for general chemistry labs at Penn State University. There, I taught two sections of labs by overseeing the student's working on the lab, grading quizzes and lab notebooks.
