Tutor profile: Kelly F.
Enthusiastic Reference Librarian
Tutor Satisfaction Guarantee
Though I just completed a Masters in Library and Information Science in May 2020, my enthusiasm for library services has been going strong for 9 years in the field. I pay special attention to information literacy, ensuring that your resources are well-rounded choices and that you support your claims with adequate research.
My teaching experience spans over the past 5 years - during my undergraduate I took courses focused on pedagogy and serving extraordinary needs, as well as served as an academic writing coach to my peers through the Academic Success center on our campus. During my time in library services, I have performed several ad hoc teachable moments, whether its walking someone through how to use email for the first time to conducting research for an undergraduate thesis.
