I have been in education for over 30 years, working in both private/independent schools and a public charter school. I grew up in Philadelphia, moved to Maryland to get my Masters Degree, and have since moved to rural North Carolina.
I have taught in five different schools, starting in a small private school outside of Philadelphia in 1985. I have taught Science, English, Math, History, technology, and Phys. Ed. over the years, and I've even taught a little Spanish as a substitute when teachers are sick. I have spent the last five years in administration, coaching teachers and planning and facilitating teacher training.
