Select one of your favorite books and describe what you gained from it.
Most recently I read Byron Katie's, Loving What Is. This book has powerful practices to integrate into daily life that changes the way you see the world and how you react to your circumstances. In short, this book flips over your preconceived notions, whether from childhood onto adulthood and allows you to examine them more closely. Do they benefit you? Or are they contributing to your place as a victim in your everyday life? I would encourage everyone to read this book, it contains powerful content that has changed my life, I use the practices and mindsets each and every day.

What do you feel could improve the Educational System today?
I believe understanding that children are diverse learners, all possessing unique skillsets and best methods for learning. While some may excel in teacher directed, others may be better suited with child-initiated. I believe more of a focus on the learner and not on the test taking ability of the learner would increase the overall learning experience of children and adolescents and reduce drop-out rates and encourage an overall love of learning.
