Although many people debate passionately about whether or not ordinary citizens should be legally allowed to carry a concealed weapon, one can clearly conclude by reading the requirements for obtaining a concealed carry license that the amount of education and training currently required is not enough, and the issuing of concealed carry licenses should be halted until more education and training is required.
In the story of Julius Caesar, who is the tragic hero? Support your answer.
Brutus is the tragic hero in the story of Julius Caesar. Some people might assume the tragic hero is Caesar himself, but this story is really about Brutus. He is a well respected senator in Rome, but his tragic flaw is his naivete. He allows himself to be persuaded by Cassius into believing that Caesar might become bad for Rome and therefore should be assassinated for the good of Rome before he has the opportunity to do harm. He participates in the assassination, and, by the end of the story, he nobly commits suicide on the battlefield as he realizes that his naivete has led to more misery than grandeur (including his own wife committing suicide in a horrific way).
