What are semi-colons, commas, colons, or a thesis? When do I use these?
I get asked this a lot, and they are easy once you know the tricks. Semi-colons are like periods mid-sentence--they separate two independent clauses. The rest we can work on together so that you know them easily.
How do you balance, work, school, sports, and studying? When does one have the time?
Creating schedules, knowing how to study smarter not harder, and knowing how to study the best for the test. Time-management is key, but so is learning the best way to study.
Are ACT questions fast, think-on-your-feet questions, or slow and really take your time to answer questions? (Remember, knowing the test is half the battle to taking it).
Think Fast! The ACT questions need to be answered in under a minute, but don't worry--there are plenty of comprehension strategies we can work together to utilize in our studying.
