Question:

if two resistors are connected in parallel and each has 4Ω resistance. find total resistance and power if the voltage across the resistor is 10V.

Harish N.
Answer:

total resistance in parallel connection is 1/Rt= 1/4Ω +1/4Ω thus Rt = 2Ω now power P=VI but we need I so V=IR I=V/R so I= 10V/4Ω I=2.5A power P = 10V * 2.5A => 25 watts power= 25 watts

Question:

in a triangle, if angle a =110° and b=20° then find the third angle c.

Harish N.
Answer:

In a Euclidean space, the sum of measures of these three angles of any triangle is invariably equal to the straight angle, also expressed as 180° thus a+b+c = 180° thus 110° + 20° + c =180° thus c= 50°

Question:

2(2 − x) = 3y − 2 3x + 9 = 4(5 − y)

Harish N.
Answer:

3x + 9 = 20 − 4y Subtract 9 from both sides. 3x + 9 − 9 = 20 − 9 − 4y Combine like terms on each side. 3x = 11 − 4y Divide both sides by 3 x = (11 -4y)/3 Substitute the value of x into the second equation and solve for y 4-2x=3y-2 replace x with above value 4 -2((11-4y)/3) = 3y-2 then simplify it to by taking lcm and multiplying values 12 − (22 − 8y) = 9y − 6 then assemble the same one on a side −10 + 8y = 9y − 6 then y= -4 now use it to get x from the first x value x=(11- 4*-4)/3 x=27/3 x=9
