I have been married for 29 years and taught 3rd and 6th grade Math, in a classroom setting, for 25 of those years. Additionally, I was a long-term home schooling Math tutor and High School Math tutor for most of those years as well. Upon my graduation from Temple University in 1988, I began my teaching career in the Philadelphia, PA public school system as a long term substitute, in a 3rd-grade classroom, from January 1988 through June 1988. In September of 1988, I started the first stretch of my career as a 6th-grade classroom teacher and tutor of Mathematics/Algebra from September of 1988 through February of 2000 at Our Lady of Calvary School.
