The clavicle, commonly referred to as the collarbone, is the longest horizontal bone in the human body. There are two clavicles, a right one and a left one. Starting at your shoulder, move your hand towards your neck. The horizontal bone that you feel is one of your clavicles. Continue past the notch at your neck to your other shoulder, and you will feel the clavicle on the other side.
