As a doctoral student in Communication at the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California, Caitlin’s research explores intersectional feminism, gender studies, and globalization in relation to gender-based sexual violence, specifically the issue of gang rape. Her research delves into issues of social class, media, economic development, toxic masculinity, patriarchy, tradition and culture, as they relate to gang rape on regional and global scales.
