How do you perform the VLOOKUP function in Microsoft Excel? Please provide an example.
You start by clicking on the cell you want the return value to be entered. Then up top in the functions bar you type, "=VLOOKUP(" The first element you are going to add to the function is the value you want to look up. After that, add a comma and input the range where you want to lookup the value. Add another comma and put in the column number in the range containing the return value. Lastly, determine whether you want the function to look up only an Exact Match or an Approximate Match, you select this by indicating 0 or FALSE for an Exact Match and 1 or TRUE for an Approximate Match. Then once you close the parentheses and hit enter you have successfully performed the VLOOKUP function. A successful VLOOKUP function would look like this: =VLOOKUP(B4,GradeList,2,TRUE)

Explain the difference between Market Segmentation and Target Marketing?
Target marketing is the term used for directing your marketing efforts toward a general group of people. You are evaluating each markets attractiveness and selecting 1 or more markets to enter. Market segmentation is dividing a market into distinct buyer groups, with different needs, characteristics and behaviors. It divides broad markets--such as gender, age, geographic location and income--into smaller segments in which people are grouped by shared characteristics.
