About Maddalena
I am an enthusiastic undergraduate student at the University of Washington - Seattle studying biology with hopes of continuing to medical school. I currently am working in a research lab that is developing an HIV therapeutic vaccine. Biology, chemistry, and mathematics have always captured my interest, and I would consider them my passions.
Teaching Experience
I first began tutoring junior year of high school on a volunteer basis with the National Honor Society. I tutored four hours a week in high school level biology and chemistry through 12th grade. During that time I also was a paid in-home tutor in chemistry for several students. This usually included 1+ hour sessions at the students home spent preparing for tests or completing homework.
