Hello! I am a computer programmer by trade. I graduated cum laude from North Carolina State University with a degree in computer science and a minor in math. While in school, I tutored and taught classes on the side. I've helped students in topics from pre-algebra to calculus. I scored an 800 on the math section of the SAT, and an 800 on the SAT II tests in both math and physics. Furthermore, I've recently been considering a career change to teaching, and took the Praxis II test in math content knowledge, and scored a 195 out of 200, so I know...
I was a lab instructor for five years while in college. I prepared and delivered lectures each week, and I worked with students, both in groups and in one-on-one sessions during my office hours.
I have also tutored students one-on-one in pre-calculus, algebra, and calculus.
