I am currently in my second year of my structural engineering Ph.D. at UCSD working in seismic retrofitting. I graduated from UCSD with a BS in structural engineering. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing jazz/blues piano, longboarding, and backpacking. Anything outdoor is always a plus!
I have been a lab instructor for two courses in the structural engineering department at UCSD as well as been a teacher assistant for one other course. This summer I am working as an instructor for COSMOS (California State Summer School for Mathematics and Science) at UCSD teaching structural and geotechnical engineering. Also, through high school and college, I have tutored all levels of math up to multi-variable calculus.
