Is Java a difficult language to learn and understand?
Yes and no. Learning a programming language is truly like learning a new language. There are new words to consider, rules and exceptions to remember, and concepts to understand. While learning to a programme for the first time has a tremendous learning curve (one that some cannot get past), Java is actually the most friendly and useful programming language to learn in addition to Python. In addition, Java is one of the most popular programming languages in the world. Once a person learns and understands it, they will be more than prepared to learn higher level languages, such as C++. It is difficult to understand some of the concepts at first, but it all makes sense and comes together when you see what is compiled.
Why do people shy away from trigonometry and math in general?
When first learning it, trigonometry has a learning curve. It takes many concepts from algebra and utilizes them. However, many new concepts are also introduced, which is where students get confused. The numbers, equations, formulas, and graphs may seem overwhelming to some. I believe this is why most students tend to dislike trigonometry and avoid it. However, it is an easy topic to break down into pieces rather than focus on everything at one time. This also goes with many trigonometry problems. Rather than look at the question and get overwhelmed, start by outlining what you need to solve first and work your way upwards.
How can one become a great writer?
Writing, as with anything humans learn, must be strengthened through practice and revision. Anybody can become a writer the moment they start writing something. What separates good writing from excellent writing is the work one puts into it. Practicing, for example, is one essential component that can truly strengthen one's writing skills. Practice allows one to gain experience through their mistakes. In other words, as a person continues to write, the more they will learn. Practice also involves seeking out the help of more experienced writers. They are able to give direction and guide someone in their writing career. With helpful tips given by those more experienced as well as practicing on his or her own, one will undeniably become a good writer.
