I am a librarian with experience assisting college students and the general public with reference inquiries on a broad range of topics, the use of computer hardware and software, and the navigation of print and electronic materials. Most recently I served a diverse community of entrepreneurs by planning programs and collections for nonprofit and for profit start-ups. My teaching experience comes from the two and a half years that I spent as a public librarian who trained beginning and advanced stage entrepreneurs on the best practices for nonprofit fundraising, on market research basics, and on finding grants. During this period, I facilitated some 400 trainee visits over a weekly teaching schedule, and interacted in group or individual consultation with learners from diverse backgrounds.
