My name is Asha, and I am a student at the University of Virginia. My primary career interests are the fields of medicine and research. I love tutoring because I like working with children as well as peers to help them with their academic difficulties and help them enjoy what they are learning in school. Education holds a large place in my heart, and as a tutor, I would like to help others love what they are learning and help them discover their passions, whether, in science, math, technology, or the arts.
I have had two years of tutoring experience in elementary level math and critical thinking as well as SAT math and ACT math. I have worked with students ranging from kindergarten level to the high-school and college preparatory level. I am also proficient in French, Hindi, and elementary proficiency in Italian. Math has always been one of my favorite subjects, and there had been some times where I did not particularly enjoy a part of the lesson just because I did not understand it. I want to be there to help kids love math and feel good about...
