Question:

Can you tell me what the DR and MRS VANDERTRAMP verbs are? Are these regulars or irregulars? Which helping verb do we use to conjugate these in past tense?

Asha R.
Answer:

Descendre rester rentrer mourir sortir venir arriver naitre devenir entrer retourner tomber revenir aller monter partir These are all irregulars and therefore in the passe compose should be conjugated with Etre, the to be verb. If they were regular, the helping verb would be avoir, to have.

Question:

What is the Rule of Reality?

Asha R.
Answer:

English: There is a little boy eating an ice cream cone on the dock. English and American Sign Language are very different. In regards to the Rule of Reality, one must establish the water, then the dock, then the boy, and finally the ice cream cone. IT's almost reversed. There can't be a boy sitting on a dock. One must establish the dock first and work backwards unlike English. (I would have them have a few practices).

B- This is the only way of transportation that allows species to move against the concentration gradient (from low to high concentration). Diffusion simply just moves species down the gradient in the opposite way (high to low).
