Hi! My name is Emily, and I am a third-year engineering student at Cornell University.
For as long as I can remember, math has been my favorite subject. In fact, when I was little, I used to ask for math books for Christmas! My passion for math, coupled with my love for chemistry, has inspired me to pursue a degree in chemical engineering.
Outside of school, I enjoy playing volleyball, watching TV and movies, and spending time with my friends and family. I love helping people, and I am very passionate about helping students learn!
I have been a math tutor for 5 years. I began tutoring as a sophomore in high school through my school's math honor society. I would help my classmates review notes and materials so that they would be prepared for upcoming exams in classes such as geometry, algebra 1 and 2, pre-calculus, and AP Calculus AB/BC. I continued doing so until I graduated high school.
