I specialize in the environmental sciences, with a particularly strong background in geology. I was an honors graduate and the class valedictorian at Sewanee: The University of the South, where I received degrees in Natural Resources and Psychology. I have extensive tutoring experience, both as an independent worker and a university-employed teaching fellow. I also have worked as a field instructor in destinations such as Alaska, where I delivered geology-based field education during multi-week wilderness excursions.
I have a background in outdoor education, particularly as an employee for the Outdoor Program at the University of the South and Moondance Adventures, and was also a universty-employed tutor and teaching fellow for several years during my undergrad education.
