What are some tips to form simple chinese sentences?
1. Be concise. Chinese grammar is built on saying exactly what you mean in the least amount of vocabulary. The sentence building structure in Chinese is: Subject + Verb + Object Here are some examples: 我喜歡畫畫 Wǒ xǐhuān huà huà (I like drawing). 你喝水 Nǐ hē shuǐ (You drink water). 2. Adding Time You may be wondering how to specify when things are occurring as there are no tenses or conjugation in Chinese grammar. If you want to express the tense, you will want to add the time instead of changing the verb. The sentence structure to add time is Subject + Time + Verb + Object. Here are the examples from the above sentences to include time: 我小時候喜歡畫畫 Wǒ xiǎoshíhòu xǐhuān huà huà (When I was young, I liked to draw). 3. Questions The easiest way to ask a question when you are beginning to speak Chinese is to add 吗 Ma to the ending of the phrase. Of course, this is not the only way to ask every question in Chinese. However, you can use it for most questions that have a yes or no answer. For example: 我小時候喜歡畫畫嗎? Wǒ xiǎoshíhòu xǐhuān huà huà ma? (When I was young, did I like to draw?)

Round 3.864 to the nearest tenth.
1) The tenths place is immediately to the right of the decimal point. In the number 3.864, the 8 is in the tenths place. 2) Look at the hundredths place. The hundredths place is the digit to the right of the decimal point. This digit tells you whether to round up or down. In the number 3.864, the 6 is in the hundredths place. 3a) Round the tenths place up if the hundredths place is 5 or more. Is the digit in the hundredths place is 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9? If it is, "round up" by adding 1 to the tenths place digit. Get rid of all digits after the tenths place, and you have your answer. 3b) Round down if the hundredths place is 4 or less. Is the digit in the hundredths place 4, 3, 2, 1, or 0? If it is, "round down" by leaving the tenth place as it is. Just remove any digits in the hundredths place and further to the right. In this case, the hundredths is more than 5, so we round 3.864 to 3.9/

How do I find a college or university that is best for me?
Talking with a college counselor about your interests, strengths, and goals can help you identify schools that suit you academically, financially, and culturally. Setting aside a time to research schools and then narrowing your list to the best-fit colleges you should focus on should be your first step. Making an excel sheet to compare the colleges acceptance rate, SAT/ACT scores, financial cost, setting (urban/city), college amenities, etc would be beneficial in this process.
