I worked full-time as a medical/practice assistant at the Fish Center which contains a specialties clinic and dermatology clinic, along with the Osher Clinic for Integrative Medicine. The ABOVE Clinic treats patients who have been diagnosed with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) along with a comorbid mental health disorder (Anxiety, Depression, etc.). As an assistant, I was able to assist and observe both Dr. Park and nurses at the clinic during patient visits. Gross Anatomy, Summer Session is a course taken by senior undergraduates and First-Year Masters students. As Teaching Assistant, I was responsible for putting together presentations based off of lecture materials from a given week throughout the semester. During tutoring sessions, I worked through typically challenging material with students using the presentations. I served as a peer resource for students, answering questions regarding course material, exam review, and the associated Gross Anatomy cadaver lab.
