Questions
Subject: Writing
When you structure any paper or essay, what should be the core of that paper?
Most well-written papers require a hypothesis as a signpost to guide through the paper and to make the argument stronger.
Subject: Literature
Many authors use symbolism in their works to convey hidden meanings, what might an item appearing in sets of three be related to?
It depends on the work, but in a religiously based text or from an author of a strong Christian background, it could refer to the Holy Trinity.
Subject: Biology
In a human diploid cell, how many distinct chromosomes are there?
There are 24 distinct human chromosomes. Initial thoughts at an answer might be 46, but those would be how many chromosomes total are in a diploid cell. Another answer might be 23 and, while there are 23 pairs of chromosomes in a diploid cell, the question asks for distinct. There are 22 distinct autosomal chromosomes, then the X and the Y chromosome, making 24 distinct chromosomes.
