What are the elements of narrative? Describe each element and how each works in a story.
First there is characterization, where the author makes the characters in the story come alive. In this category we have the protagonist and the antagonist. The protagonist is the main character of the story and the antagonist is the character that is the against the main character of the story. Next we have setting. The setting is WHERE and WHEN the story takes place. The plot in a story is the series of events where the author shows what is happening and why. The conflict in a story is the problem that needs to be resolved.
