I'm an Astrophysics major, mostly still working through my general education requirements. I have a thorough understanding of the English language (grammar and writing), mathematics up to Calculus I, and I enjoy helping others learn!
I have tutored K-12 students privately since I started high school. Additionally, I participated in a mentorship program within my magnet high school (the Marin School of Environmental Leadership) that paired me with two underclassmen, and I aided them in their coursework and with community projects.
When it comes to mathematics, I believe that learning to recognize patterns and understanding the concepts behind the numbers is so much more important than simply memorizing formulas, and my tutoring approach reflects this.
