Question:

Why isn't my preschooler learning as much or as quickly as all the other students in their class?

Answer:

We need to remember that all students learn differently and at different paces. Although an early childhood student is learning a lot of things at what seems to be a crazy, fast pace, not all students learn things at the same pace. Encouraging your student to continue to practice what they are learning and being willing to practice with them will help them to better keep up with their peers.

Question:

What are some common words that go against the rule "i before e except after c?"

Answer:

I find it easy to remember some of these words by learning this phrase, "My weird neighbor had to forfeit after falling off a glacier." This sentence does not make any sense, but it helps me to remember some words that go against this rule.

Question:

Does every student learn the same way?

Answer:

We all know the answer to this question is no, they do not all learn the same way. Students can learn through visual, auditory and hands on learning experiences. Every student is different so it is important for us to figure out what way works best for each student and provide multiple learning styles in the classroom.
