About Jaelyn
I am an incoming grad student looking for a position where I can do what I love, help students reach their full potential. Throughout high school, I would often assist my classmates to get a better understanding of our coursework and tutored my neighbor in math for a year when I was 16. I rediscovered my love of working with children while coaching soccer with Soccer Shots. After getting my TELF certification I taught ESL this summer and am excited to be teaching in this fall once again.
Teaching Experience
I taught an ESL course of 17 high school aged foreign exchange students. We covered 12 different topics which emphasized conversational proficiency, grammar, and increased vocabulary. Managed to keep the classroom energetic, engaging, and fun while continuing to teach the required curriculum. I also will be teaching two Kinesiology courses at California State University Fullerton this Fall.
