Answer:

In a democracy, the people of that nation vote for representatives to make a decision on behalf of the people with their consent. In a democracy, the people get to choose their leaders. In a democracy, their are checks and balances not one person is all powerful. In a monarchy, the people of that nation are ruled by a person in a hereditary rule ( a royal or title that has been passed down in a bloodline). In a traditional monarchy, the monarch makes all the political decisions and the people have little say.

Answer:

King George III of England was the king whom the colonist was fought to break free from. One action he took against the colonist was the Tea Act. Parliament enacted this act to help support the struggling British East India Company in London and crake down on illegal tea smuggling into the colonies. This act intern made the colonist buy tea for the British East India Company which had higher taxes attached to them. This money then went to support a Parliament where the colonist did not feel they where represented fairly.
