Question:

I will study for hours straight and when I take the test I do not retain anything that I studied. What am I doing wrong?

Michele K.
Answer:

Studies show that studying without breaks is not what is best for your brain. Your brain needs time to make connections and retain what you are learning. For every hour you study to take a 15-20 minute break. This will help your brain remember what you are learning. Also, ask for a study guide. If your teacher gives you a study guide use that to guide what you are trying to retain.

Question:

Why has the filioque created a chasm between Eastern Orthodox and the western Christian nation

Michele K.
Answer:

The filioque created a hierarchy within the Trinity. The Eastern Orthodox believes when the Trinity is not of equal status we lose sight of monotheism and create the space for multiple Gods. The Eastern Orthodox church also accuses the West of denying the spirit and mysticism within their belief system.

Question:

Why was title IX created in the first place?

Michele K.
Answer:

Institutions were not allocating their sports funding 'fairly'. Women's sports got far less funding than men. Thus, Title IX was created to make sure institutions did not discriminate in their funding.
