Why is 1/5 larger than 1/7?
Imagine you have two pizza that are the same size. If you split the first pizza into 5 equal parts to share among 5 people, and split the second pizza into 7 equal parts to share among 7 people, which pizza would have larger slices? Of course, it is the first pizza! You would get larger slices when you share among 5 people because when the whole is split into 5 equal parts, there are less slices so each slice is bigger!
