Since 2017, I have been a volunteer tutor with the Caltech RISE program, where I have worked with underprivileged middle school and high school students from the local Pasadena community. Recently, I have also been a Teaching Assistant for the Bioengineering 153 course, a graduate-level Systems Physiology class, at Caltech.

I work on computational approaches to improving diagnostic therapies for traumatic brain injury patients in the lab of Dr. Jefferson Chen, a neurosurgeon and Caltech alumnus at UC Irvine Medical Center. Most recently, I have submitted an abstract awaiting approval for the 2021 American Association of Neurological Surgeons Conference. My project was funded through the Jerome Vinograd Fellowship, a distinguished financial award, from the Caltech Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship program.
