In the Bible, what is a summary of the book of Esther?
Esther takes place in the Persian Empire with God’s work being different outside of Jerusalem. Esther becomes Queen and saves the Jewish people from being slaughtered. God is never directly mentioned but He is still at work saving His people; God’s hand of power is working in Jerusalem and His hand of providence is keeping them in Persia. The people and kingdom of God have a relationship with the whole world.
What is important about Psychology and why should I care about it?
Psychology is fundamentally the study of the "psyche." To put this more plainly, it is studying the core of who we are as humans. Why we do what we do, why we like what we like, and why we are the way we are. It seeks to help us get answers to the questions we have about ourselves. If you have ever asked yourself "Why am I like this?" or "Why did they do that?" you have an interest in studying Psychology!
